He was also chosen for one of Israel's highest recognitions for excellence in the arts the "IcExcellence" Award by the Israel Cultural Excellence Foundation in 2008.

David D'Or - Singer, Composer, LyricistD’Or accolades are endless, at the WOMAD (World of Music, Arts and Dance) Festival in 2002 D’Or won the “Favorite of the Audience” award and was invited back in 2008 to perform on the same stage with Peter Gabriel (The Musical Director of the festival).

D’Or has performed for Israeli President Shimon Peres, Italian President Giorgio Napolitano, King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand, the King and Queen of Sweden at the Swedish Royal Palace in Stockholm, Nelson Mandela, Tony Blair, and Former President Bill Clinton. D'Or also performed several times in the Vatican, by personal invitation from Pope John Paul II in 2005, And performed at a special concert for Pope Benedict XVI in Jerusalem, 2009.

He has performed with philharmonic orchestras of the world including: the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, with conductor Zubin Mehta, the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, the Rome Philharmonic, the London Symphony, the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, the Budapest Philharmonic, the Beijing Philharmonic Orchestra, the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, the New York Symphony Orchestra, the Las Vegas Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.
